From Goodreads:
Ceri thinks she sees angels…
everywhere.
Love is a powerful emotion, but can it change the course of someone’s destiny?
This is a romance story that explores the possibility of there being something more than just the ‘here and now’.

My Review:
This was a short read. It was not an easy read, but it was a good
read. It was not a romance book,
although the relationship in this book had some romance. I would consider it more a paranormal story. Not a werewolf, vampire paranormal but more
an angel paranormal. Ceri is a good
person, who goes out of her way to help others, especially when she gets “the
feeling” that a stranger needs help.
Alex, Ceri’s co-worker, is a
great friend. He is just a friend,
rarely dates, and is always there for Alex.
Until they develop feelings for each other and their relationship takes
a uncomfortable feel to it. As we learn
more about each of their lives, we realize the reason they are brought together.
I cannot tell much more without giving away
the story. So I shall end it with the
recommendation to check out this series of novellas by Linn B Halton.

Meet the Author
Linn B Halton lives in the UK, in the small village of
Arlingham.
It sits a stone’s throw away from the banks of the River Severn; she resides
there with her adorable husband and cat with attitude – Mr Tiggs!
Whilst Linn loves to write romantic novels,
there is often a psychic ‘touch’ to her stories. Many of the paranormal events
that feature in some of her books are real-life experiences.

ReplyDeleteI'd recommend it too, Charlotte. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely review. xx
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great book!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much ladies for popping by and a HUGE thank you to Charlotte for the lovely review and doing such a fab job of the post! Thank you too, for being a part of the tour. My apologies though, as I did visit on the 10th and posted a 'thank you' but see it didn't take for whatever reason. I'm in the middle of packing up to move house at the moment, so chances are I did something silly - head all over the place! Have a lovely Christmas, Linn x
