THE REMINGTONS are a 5-book
contemporary romance series featuring alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered
women. They're flawed, funny, passionate, and very relatable to readers who
enjoy new adult romance, contemporary romance, and women's fiction.
Bestselling author Kurt Remington
lives to write. He spends twelve hours a day in front of his computer, rarely
leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he’s come to finish
his latest thriller—that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in
the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt’s best-laid plans are shot to hell when
he comes to their rescue. Kurt’s as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy,
hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn’t
even know the definition of the word organized.
My Thoughts:
Of course, I loved Read, Write,
Love. Melissa Foster is an absolutely
amazing author. With each book in this
series you get the wonderful opportunity to get to know another of the
characters better. This book is all
about Kurt Remington. Kurt is a dream,
of course. The way he dotes on Leanna
and shows her his love is something out of a movie. The flowers, the attention, the
understanding of her quirks, and the love of her dog all prove his feelings to
her over and over again. As Leanna
opens her heart and realizes that she is not a crazy person who is unlovable,
she grows and learns to trust Kurt and her feelings towards him.
As always, with this entire series, I
found myself picturing Kurt and dreaming of him. Treat is still my all time crush, but Kurt
is definitely ranked high in my book crush list. I will recommend this entire series,
including Read, Write, Love, to any romance readers.
