My Thoughts…
Cannon deserves sainthood.
He not only is a protector of the neighborhood, the fighters, and Yvette,
but he also has patience that no grown man should have. While Yvette is dying to get her hands on
him, once he shows that her that she does not have a problem, he is able to
take care of her and wait… and wait… and wait some more. The tension and the sparks between them
were so hot that I could not read and turn the pages fast enough.
Lori Foster has a talent that not many do. She takes a series and bring each character
to life, while bringing in secondary characters that are just as unforgettable. Then, fortunately, she continues the stories
of the secondary characters in their own books, yet the characters from the
first books are not forgotten. I enjoy
getting to know everyone and loved being able to keep track of the past.
I cannot wait for more from this series and group of
fighters. Lori Foster is an author I
know will keep me up late reading, unable to put down the book. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a
great alpha male and a strong female character.
