Fiancé by Friday by Catherine Bybee with a GIVEAWAY

Gwen comes to America to run her sister-in-law’s matchmaking business.   Neil MacBain is her body guard and a retired marine. He is never far away from Gwen.  The attraction between Neil and Gwen is undeniable.  Gwen is willing to act on the attraction while Neil feels the need to hold back.   When Gwen’s life is put in danger, due to Neil’s marine background, Neil knows he will do anything to keep Gwen safe.
I have read other books by Catherine Bybee and have never been let down, this is no exception.  I could not put this book down.  I had to know if Neil kept Gwen safe.   Did their relationship flourish?   Could they make it together?   All my questions and more were answered by the time I finished this novel.

I found Gwen’s spunk to be endearing.  I loved that even though she had lived a privileged life she was not afraid to get dirty.  She could relate to the privileged, but she loved the under privileged just as much.   The fact that she made “happy” matches for others but was struggling with her own love life just made her that much more real.   It is always easier to help someone else then yourself.   When the sparks starting flying between Neil and Gwen I was hoping for the best and got it.

Neil was a darker character.  He struggled with his past and hadn’t been able to move past it.  I felt like maybe he felt he was not good enough for Gwen, but knew that no one else would be either.  While keeping guard over her, his feelings kept getting stronger and stronger.  I was so thrilled that the heat radiated off the two of them when they finally got together.

There is absolutely nothing in this novel I would change.  Catherine Bybee hit the mark again.  I will recommend this one to everyone.   I cannot wait for more from her.
