Rowdy Yates purchases the bar that Avery Mullins works at
and immediately promotes her to head bartender.
As the sparks fly between the two of them Avery keeps turning him down,
which NEVER happens to Rowdy. When
Avery’s past starts to threaten her safety she relies on Rowdy to keep her
safe. The more time together they spend
the harder it is to deny their attraction and the more the passion is
felt.
Thank God for Rowdy.
He is the protector, the womanizer, and the lover. Although he knows what he wants, Avery, and
accepts that he can’t have her, he doesn’t let that slow him down. When Avery walks in on Rowdy and another
woman, I could see the change coming.
The jealousy was immediate and I knew then that it was going to get
HOT! Lori Foster did not disappoint.
Although there was hotness, there was also seriousness. Avery’s history was heavy. I do not want to spoil it for anyone so I
won’t say much. But the reason that she
is working in a bar and living in a dump is scary serious and not to be taken lightly. The fact that Rowdy was there to save and
protect her made her a damsel in distress and she has her knight in shining
armor.
I am ready for more…I want Cannon and Dash’s story. Of course more of Rowdy would be appreciated
also. The first two books in this
series, Run the Risk and Bare It All, have just been added to my must read
list. Anyone looking for a hot and fun
read has to check out this series.
